Background Introduction

Myoglobin (Myo) is an oxygen binding protein, which widely exists in skeletal muscle, myocardium and smooth muscle, accounting for about 2% of all proteins in muscle. Determination of serum myoglobin serves as the most sensitive indicator in the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Though Myo positive cannot fully confirm AMI, but it can be used for early exclusion of AMI. If Myo is negative, myocardial infarction is excluded, and it can also be used for the diagnosis of reinfarction. Combined with clinical practice, if Myo rises again, it should be considered as reinfarction or extension of infarction.

Linear Range

The linear correlation was R²＞ 0.99 in the concentration range of 30ng/ml-600ng/ml on the fluorescence chromatography platform.
